Every single product is carefully developed and designed by me, with you, the user, in mind. I want you to feel seen, inspired and appreciated – from the moment you hold the box in your hands, until you try the product for the very first time.
MY JOURNEY - FROM CHILDHOOD DREAM TO REALITY
I have always been a creative soul. As a child, I could sit for hours and play beauty salon with my dolls – painting faces, doing hairstyles and dreaming away in colors and shapes. It felt so natural, and in many ways I have never stopped doing it – I just replaced the dolls with real people and the markers with professional tools. After a gap year in New York where I studied fashion design, I decided to pursue medical studies back home in Norway. But I quickly realized that it was not my path. I became exhausted, unhappy and lacked spark.
I knew I had to listen to my gut feeling.
In 2014, I posted my first YouTube video – a classic “Get Ready With Me” – and something inside me woke up. I loved it! Video by video, my passion grew. I put aside my medical studies and followed my dream: to become a makeup artist. I completed my makeup artist education at Face Stockholm Makeup Artist School, and it felt like I was finally on the right path. I have now worked in the beauty industry for almost ten years and love everything about it – from the creative freedom, to the feeling of bringing out the beauty in everyone.
HOW LIVI BEAUTY WAS BORN
The dream of starting my own brand has always been in the back of my mind. During the pandemic – when I suddenly found myself unemployed, there was a voice in my head that said: “Follow your dream.” And I did. I knew I wanted to create a brand that combined high quality and accessible products. Because beauty shouldn’t be expensive or exclusive – it should be for everyone. And it should be fun!
As a makeup artist, I know how important it is to have good products and tools – and how overpriced they can often be. With LIVI BEAUTY, I want to give you the best of both worlds: beautiful products you can trust, at a price that allows for both everyday comfort and glam. Every collection, every lash and every detail is made with you in mind – and I hope you know it.
